Who this applies to
These rules apply to everyone who uses the apps we operate, and their websites and APIs. They cover prompts, uploads, generated output, messages and twins.
Each app’s own policies
This page covers Foldox Limited as a company. Each app we operate also has its own terms and policies on its own website. When you use an app, its own terms and policies apply, and they take priority over this page where the two differ.
Zero tolerance
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. We may remove the content and close the accounts.
Never create, upload or share
- Child sexual abuse material, or any sexual content involving minors, real or made by AI. See our child safety standards.
- Sexual or intimate images of a real person without their consent, including deepfakes.
- Threats, harassment, bullying, or hate against people for who they are.
- Content that promotes terrorism or violent extremism.
- Content that encourages suicide, self-harm or eating disorders.
- Realistic fakes of real people or events that are meant to deceive, such as scams or election lies.
- Content that breaks copyright, trademarks or other rights. See our copyright and takedown page.
- Someone else’s personal data, without a lawful reason.
- Anything illegal in Ireland or where you are.
Don’t misuse the apps
- Don’t get round safety filters or usage limits.
- Don’t get into accounts, systems or data that aren’t yours. Don’t test security outside the rules on our security page.
- Don’t send malware, spam or phishing.
- Don’t scrape, overload or disrupt the service.
- Don’t pretend to be us or anyone else.
Rules for each app
Lovino
- No explicit, adult or sexual content.
- Only upload photos of yourself, or of people who have clearly agreed. Don’t impersonate anyone.
- Don’t use AI images as photographs without saying they are AI.
Lovino’s own rules are in its terms.
sighting.ai
- Don’t get round usage limits or reverse engineer the service.
- Don’t submit content that infringes others’ rights or that harasses or discriminates.
hiy.ai
- A twin may only represent you, or a product or organisation you own.
- Don’t use unlicensed material, or take other creators’ sources.
- Don’t present a twin’s answers as professional medical, legal or financial advice.
- No spam or bulk lead harvesting.
Report abuse
- Lovino: on the web, use Report in the ••• menu on a template card. In the Lovino app, when it is available, Report is in the ••• menu of a creation. You can also email safety@foldox.com or support@lovino.ai.
- sighting.ai: it has no public gallery or social posting, and its analysis reports are private. To report a problem, email safety@foldox.com or support@sighting.ai.
- hiy.ai: every twin page has a Report link. You can also email safety@foldox.com or hello@hiy.ai. Its rules are in its acceptable use page.
You can also report AI output on our AI-generated content policy page, a copyright problem on our copyright page, and child safety concerns on our child safety page. To report a security problem, see security.
What we do if the rules are broken
We may remove content, limit features, suspend or close accounts, and report illegal content to the police or other authorities. We report child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities as the law requires, such as Hotline.ie and An Garda Síochána in Ireland. Where appropriate and lawful, we tell the person whose content we removed.
Appeals
If you think we got it wrong, reply to our email or write to contact@foldox.com and we’ll take another look.
Changes
We may update these rules. When we do, we change the date at the top.
